ALCAMI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE

Alcami Almond Flour Cookies

 

Ingredients:

2 cups almond flour

2 tablespoons Alcami Original or Cacao for a chocolatey twist

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 cup softened butter or vegan butter

3 tablespoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup regular or dairy-free chocolate chips

 

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.


In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, Alcami and baking powder, mixing until well incorporated. Add the softened butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, stirring until fully combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.


Form the dough into either 6 large or 12 small balls. Place them on the lined baking sheet and gently press down to flatten into cookie shapes.


Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until they begin to turn golden around the edges.


Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet before enjoying.
